What type of gloves should I wear?

The type of gloves very much depends on:

- the type of work you do; for work with hazardous chemicals, consult the chemical's SDS
- whether or not you are allergic to latex

UCLA’s PPE Selection Guide provides an overview over different types of gloves and their usage.

Additional glove-related information:

After your work is done, dispose of the gloves into the appropriate type of trash
- Biohazardous material into biohazardous waste
- Radioactive material into radioactive waste
- Hazardous chemicals into chemical waste
- Non-hazardous material into regular trash
